Wild Melbourne (via Geelong) pedal to the metal Aussie Rock'n'Roll from the late 80's and early 90's. This CD reissue from August 2006 compiles the band's debut 12" from 1988 on the Pre-Dogmeat label Grown Up Wrong, featuring the crazed opener 'Little Suzie' ,the brilliant Lobby Loyde & the Coloured Balls cover of 'Human Being' and 4 other sonic treats. Following that is all of their totally red hot 1990 Mini-LP (originally on Dogmeat Records) 'Take it out on You' -being 7 of the most raucous 'n' rockin' cuts goin', featuring the line-up of Dave Thomas, Buzz Munday, John Nolan and Tim Hemensley (John and Tim both pre-Powder Monkeys). You get the venom of 'Mr Ten Percent', the power of 'Conquest', the wild title track, the soaring 'Sweet Charity',along with great cover versions of the Sex Pistols & Rocket From The Tombs & more. Also included are 5 extra tracks including their outta control cover of Black Sabbath's 'Iron Man' (with vocals by Sly from the mighty Splatterheads), 'Christine', the Troggs cut 'Feels Like a Woman', and 2 raw as hell live tracks (inc: a Dead Boys cover) culled from an obscure giveaway cassette from the legendary Tote Hotel in Melbourne. Remastered by Lindsay Gravina & wrapped up in a 12 page booklet with excerpts from the band's crazy 1990 European tour diaries (penned by Tim Hemensley). Guitar Scuzz brilliance indeed.
