A longtime (& currently sporadic) staple on the Melbourne Rock’n’Roll scene,Hoss have been kicking up the dust since the late 80’s,with a 7” & LP debut on the Au-Go-Go label, plus a string of excellent albums & EP’s on the Dogmeat label. Criminally underrated but a true gem in the shitheap, when these guys are on, they leave all others by the roadside! The A side is from their killer ‘Bring on the Juice’ alb, with the flip a red hot live-to-air run-thru for radio 3JJJ. Featuring ex-members of God,& Nice Girls from Cinncinatti (with Bored!/Powder Monkeys Guitar guru John Nolan on lead on one song). Look out also for Joel’s releases with Slide/Guitar legend Charlie Owen as Tendrils,as well as with Tex Perkins,& solo on the very fine ‘Thin Man Bordello’ CD compile on local label Pharmacy (see links page).
